The Side Table

My goodness, where has the time gone? I was only planning on doing a small break from posting and I come back to realize I’ve been away far longer than expected. A whole year! Time flies when you’re not looking.

Let me share what’s been happening since the last time I was here.

1. My TBR pile has only grown. I know. Shocker. I have curbed some of my library, but then I gave a whole slew of books a loving home on my shelves. I’m excited to get to them…whenever that is.
2. I posted more on my podcast. Yes, I know. Another podcast talking about books. Well, I wanted to give it a try, learn some new editing skills, and sometimes the only way to really discuss a book (for good or bad) is to just physically talk about it. It’s barely there, but I’m kind of happy I’m giving it a try.
3. I switched jobs, so there was a period of adjustment that threw my reading and posting schedule off. Adding in a new book club that rarely seems to meet on time but enjoy the books we do read, you can see how a year’s gone by since I last did anything here.

I’m looking forward to doing more reading and sharing my thoughts. I hope everyone’s been doing well and finding a whole bunch of lovely reads. Thanks for your patience and have a great bookish day!
