June wrap up

So, this month wasn’t very productive for reading. I was attending a historians summit in New Mexico’s mountain area. I learned archiving, researching, exhibit building and displaying, and inventory systems for artifacts. It was great and I loved sitting in the fridged morning air every morning, watching the sun rise on the mountains. But there wasn’t a lot of time for reading. And there was hardly any cell service. It was great to have a reset from electronics and just enjoy life. I miss it and I’ve been trying to fall back into my normal routine after such relaxing peace.

But I am extremely grateful I had a chance to read Escape from the Isle of the Lost before I left. If I had to read one book this month, I’m glad it was that one.

Well, the Fourth of July is coming up, so everyone is sure to be busy in America. Since I live near Gettysburg, it’s doubly so. Enjoy the holiday, everyone!
